• 5★★★★★ - "After some water damage occurred in my bedroom and was later repaired, I realized the wallpaper that the previous owners put up needed to come down if I wanted to paint the walls. I attempted to DIY the removal... it was not as easy as I had thought it would be, as I discovered there were multiple layers that needed to be removed. This house was constructed in the early 1930's and there were old crunchy layers of paper from way back then still on it. I contacted Pop of Color and Bill got back to me, he came during the weekend to have a look and give me an estimate and after a day of thought, I called him back to officially hire him.
  Bill completed the job after four days of hard work removing old paper off the walls, ceiling, and one cramped closet. Even though the job was really tough he kept at it and had a great attitude. He was also careful and did his best to not make a mess elsewhere in the house. Everything was cleaned up after the job was completed as well. I appreciate that he took his time and did the job right, the results show that he takes pride in his work."

  I moved into a pretty blah house about 2 years ago, but I chose it because it was blah and I knew that I could easily make it whoah, without much effort. Unable to find a painter that didn't lie for a living or think that they could rip-off the presumably single female, I painted the entire 1300 sqft myself. Twice. Having never really painted before, my walls, particular the edges, screamed DWDIY (Drinking While Doing It Yourself). I didn't care though and still invited people over to see. Yes, shameless and proud.
  I recently bought new furniture, so I figured I should get new color on the walls as well, but DBP (Done By a Pro)this time around. I found Bill in January, but because I'm one that doesn't really know what I want, but is pretty sure of what I don't, I wasn't able to start until April. I picked all of my colors because I'm that anal, but Bill was helpful with feedback if I became conflicted. It was a smooth enough process until the first stroke of trim color was applied and I thought "No bueno". Well, 28 days later, after a room of repainted trim, a kitchen of 5 different colors and a custom design wall, I have a house with 4 polished areas that looks as if the Property Brothers made an appearance and I didn't have to sell a kidney on the black market to cover it all."
